ARGENCERT Program

This program requires the compliance with ARGENCERT Norms. It allows all certified operators in Argentina to sell their products as organic in the domestic market as well as in the European market and others and all certified operators in other countries to sell their organic products in the European market and other destinations under the support of ARGENCERT ISO 65 accreditation.

ARGENCERT Norms were compiled in compliance with SENASA nº 1286/93, SAGPyA nº 270/00 and modifications, Organic Law 25.127, and decrees nº 97/01 and 206/01 in equivalence with ECC 2092/91 and modifications.

ARGENCERT IFOAM Program This program is complementary to ARGENCERT Program and verifies the compliance with IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Movements) specific requirements and allows the use of IFOAM seal. Programa

ARGENCERT Argentina-Japan: This is also complementary to ARGENCERT Program and verifies the compliance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Argentina and Japan so that organic products from Argentina (raw material or processed products from vegetal origin) can be consider as organic in Japan.

NOP

The National Organic Program establishes the requirements set for the products that will be traded in the US market as organic. The NOP is administered by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture)

CHILE Program

ARGENCERT is registered at the Chilean SAG (Agriculture and Livestock Service) to certify organic production in Chile under Law 20.089, Regulation DS N°36 and Technical Norms DS N°17.

CANADA Program

ARGENCERT is recognized by CARTV (Conseil des appellations réservées et des termes valorisants) to certify organic production for Québec market and will be allow to certify under the new Canadian organic regulation when it comes into force.

ARGENCERT verifies the compliance with the requirements of this Swiss certification body so that operators certified under ARGENCERT Program can use the logo

Inspection Programs

JONA

Certified operations under ARGENCERT Program that comply with JAS Law requirements can sign an agreement with the Japanese certification body JONA to apply for the use of JAS seal in organic products.

Verification in Labels

Krav logo verification in labels: Certified operators under ARGENCERT Program can apply for the use of this logo. The operator signs an agreement with Aranea Certification Body and his/her purchaser. ARGENCERT verifies the correct use of the logo.

Labeling

ARGENCERT verifies the compliance with CARTV (Québec, Canadá) labeling requirements of the organic products with the Quebec market destination.

Acceptance

Soil Association Honey and meat certified operators under ARGENCERT Program can be accepted as suppliers of Soil Association certified operators.
